KCPL - Iatan

As of November 15, Hoffman Cortes began construction on three of the six construction support buildings for Iatan’s construction operations at the Kansas City Power & Light complex off I-29 near Weston, Mo. The buildings will total of 71,600 square feet, and are projected to cost $5.1 million. Construction is scheduled to be completed by late spring 2008. Construction on the remaining three buildings is scheduled to start this February.

Construction of buildings will facilitate current and future construction at the plant and demonstrate the environmental commitment Kansas City Power & Light has towards the community.
