Graphic Arts Building
The Graphic Arts building was built in 1915 as the headquarters for a commercial printing and related trades company. In subsequent years, the building was used by Park University before transitioning into lofts in 2007. This eight-story building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, had its exterior completely renovated. Hoffman Cortes worked on an accelerated schedule and tight job site to restore the façade of this building back to its original look. The project team, which includes architect Stark Duncan Wilson, secured historic tax credits for this popular residential space located in the heart of downtown Kansas City.
